Goal:
We are eager to hear about your experiences and how you have engaged with High Impact Practices during your time at UVM! As we continue to build more opportunities for experiential learning, it is valuable to hear your insights!
High Impact Practices:
High Impact Practices (HIPs) are active learning experiences that promote deep learning and student engagement. HIPs can take many forms. For this survey, we will be focusing on the following HIPs: Internships, Study Abroad, Civic Learning and Service-Learning courses, Research experiences, Club experiences, and TA/Grading positions.
Resume:
At the end of this survey, you will be asked to submit your updated resume. This will help us learn how our students communicate about their skills and experiences in addition to showing us other HIPs our students engage with. Please make sure that you have your updated resume ready to upload prior to starting this survey. There are some resources in this module to help you prepare your resume. The "Resume Guide" will give you helpful tools to ensure that you are communicating your skills effectively and have all the required components in your resume. The "Resume Template" is a great place to start if you are building a resume for the first time or looking for a better template (This template works well in Applicant Tracking Systems). There is also an "Action Verbs List" to help you build effective bullet points and some "CEMS Resume Examples" to give you some references.
