Submission of Regular quizzes and Tests to Blackboard
1. Size and format requirements:
Please find the rules about size, number, and format of submitted files in:
- The Syllabus - see rubric "Regular quizzes";
- A link slightly below it - http://www.cems.uvm.edu/~tlakoba/20_fall/math_121/Assignment_Submission_Summary.pdf
(second half of page);
- Another link there - http://www.cems.uvm.edu/~tlakoba/common_files/Remote_Instructions_Tools.html
(see item 4).
Any violation will be penalized starting after quiz 1.
For example, if you decide to
submit 2 pdf files for each page of the next quiz instead of 1 pdf file, as the rules require, I'll penalize that. And so on.
2. Late submission policy for R-Quizzes and Tests:
- If
you anticipate having a delay in submitting a quiz or test regularly or
on any particular day, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance
and explain your situation. I will try to accommodate your request if I
find it reasonable. (If you anticipate this delay on a regular basis,
e.g. due to having classes or other commitments/needs, please contact me now, i.e. early in the semester.)
- If you submited your work to Blackboard late without obtaining a prior authorization from me, the following penalty will apply:
- For Quizzes: 1 point per every 5 minutes (or part thereof) of delay;
- For Tests: 2 points per every 5 minutes (or part thereof) of delay.
So, please practice scanning files in the required form in advance of the assignment and plan your schedule ahead.
